Initially, select publication types based on where your publication will be published or presented. You will pick a more specific publication type on the following screen.

  • Journal includes articles, images (cover/website), Argonne-published journals/newsletters, editorials or news items, and book reviews
  • Conference include full proceedings published or edited by Argonne authors, programs, and items presented by an individual or group. View the Selecting Conferences flow chart for visual instructions about this publication type.
  • Book includes book chapters, books edited by Argonne authors, and entire books.
  • Report include technical reports and sections, DOE program documents, administrative/site reports, theses/dissertations, and white papers.
  • Web/Multimedia includes, videos, web content, full websites, and databases or datasets
  • More Choices includes fact sheets, educational items, brochures or pamphlets, and award entries.
