When communicating to sponsors and others regarding work you perform that is paid by the agency,
you must use the following designation:

John Doe, Argonne Associate of Value Added Solutions, Inc.
ABC Division
Argonne National Laboratory
9700 S. Cass Ave.
Lemont, IL 60439

The following abbreviated designation may be used for publications that have limited space for
affiliations:

Argonne Associate—Value Added Solutions, Inc., Argonne National Laboratory, Lemont, IL 60439,
USA.

Because you will be an employee of an agency, you may not use the Argonne National Laboratory
affiliation without including the name of the agency in regard to your work performed as an Argonne
Associate.
