Rights in the “presentation” – likeness, transcription, inspection – belong to the employee. The Speaker Release for Argonne Employee Presenting Offsite (ANL-581) covers not only a release for the employee to sign regarding the presentation, but also a nonexclusive license to transcribe the presentation and distribute it and any other written material submitted in connection with the presentation (with the understanding that the written material must be submitted for clearance). The Publications Clearance Office is authorized to sign this section of the form.
